Anapana is beginner meditation; which is holding your awareness; on the triangle of your nose with the upper lip; while breathing naturally. At first only gross sensations will be felt. However after your sensitivity improves; you will also become aware of subtle sensations. Which is an awareness of your own magnetic field or aura. After you gain the ability to feel subtle sensations; over the whole of the triangle area. While holding your concentration without; any distracting thoughts for two minutes. Appropriately and quite naturally you will now be ready; to practice insight meditation; which is a whole body scan with your awareness.
