Hello Meditation Students my name is Brother Bert.
Today is the beginning of your complete transformation by moving into a stronger energy field. This is a natural progression from a rigid reactive pattern into a more calm and responsive at peace pattern. Meditation is the conscious process of inducing, invoking or increasing energy from your own over soul into your being on the earth plane. Every worthwhile endeavor starts with a humble beginning, which in this case is beginner meditation or Anapana.
Sit in any comfortable position provided your back is straight and erect, the eyes shut and that you remain still without any movement. Now you focus your attention on the natural breath. Observe all sensations in the region of the triangle of your nose with the upper lip. This exercise will discipline and sharpen the mind. Make no mistake soul energy flow is increasing from the first breath of Anapana practice.
It is not unusual to receive psychic insights during this early stage of practice, which demonstrates that you are meditating correctly. A psychic insight is to see your own mental and emotional pattern in a wider context compared with your previous awareness. Hence this is the whole basis for the name Insight Meditation.
The more meditation that you do then the stronger will be your soul energy flow. After you have achieved a certain maturity in Anapana practice then it is time to start Insight Meditation properly. Anapana is like a glow plug, which warms up the engine to where it will fire and correct Insight meditation practice becomes becomes available and will work for you.
So firstly you move your awareness to the former baby soft spot at the top of your head. This is the location where the silver cord from your over soul connects to your physical body. Progressively with your awareness you perform a systematic scan of your whole body becoming aware of any sensations as your awareness moves over a certain area. Firstly you will feel gross sensations and then over time you will feel stronger and stronger subtle sensations, which reflects an awareness of your auric field.
Eventually with continued practice you reach the stage of continuous meditation ability where you no longer need to do the disciplined sit down technique any longer. With continuous meditation you hold your awareness at the level of the third eye or brow chakra. Soul energy flow is increasing every day while resistance is decreasing every day. You now go about your daily life while meditating both at the same time. It is learned and practiced skill.

The secret of success is continual practice and to not allow yourself to be distracted from the discipline of the meditation exercise. Allow sensations to arise and pass away; allow thoughts to arise and pass away and also to allow emotion or feelings to arise and pass away. All the while maintaining your meditation awareness.
